Change the name of a menu item

  Just getting started with WP and have a question that should have an obvious solution but I can’t see it. How do you change the name of a page? It shows up in the menu bar as Untitled but should be Home.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello chrisbrodin,

  And a big welcome to the world of WordPress!

  You’ll have to start with the area that stores your pages. To the menu on the left, look for the Pages link. Click on it. You should see the “Untitled” page listed on the page that loads.

  Mouse over the page and a few links will appear under the name of the page – they should be Edit, Quick Edit, Trash and View.

  Click on Quick Edit.

  Change the Title and the Slug to the title you would like to have – “Home” in this case. Once you’re good with what you have, click on the Update button.

  Go back to your site and refresh the page. That should change the “Untitled” to “Home”.
