Change the name of my site

  How can I change the name of my site? It is now New Beginnings Nuevos Caminos, but I just registered the name Paradise Tails and I want to use that one. Can you help me with that? I cannot find the option to change the name.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The URL http://paradisetails.wordpress.com is not registered, and available. The URL http://paradisetails.com is registered, but evidently empty, or displaying as a blank white page for some other reason.

  Is the site you refer to as “Paradise Tails” a WordPress.com site? If so what is the URL? If both of the sites you mention are new and undeveloped, why would you want to change one into the other? In any event, you can’t change one WordPress.com website address into another existing website address, However, you can (as arafatbs indicates above, with appropriate links provided) do one or more of the following:

  • Change the site title.
  • Transfer a WordPress.com site into another WordPress.com account

  You could also import the content of a site from various blogging platforms into a WordPress.com site with the Export and Import tools.

  Correction:

  Member arafatbs did not, as I incorrectly stated, suggest the option of transferring a WordPress.com site into another WordPress.com account. See the relevant support page Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account.

  I believe you succeeded in changing the blog address https://paradisetails.wordpress.com/ Please try clearing your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and then view the site again.
