change the order my blogs appear? get a white background behind text?

  Hi, I’m wondering whether I can change the order my blogs appear? Also how I get a white background behind the writing and the background picture to appear on the edges.

  All posts appear in reverse chronological, newest to oldest, on WordPress.com. If you have one or two blog posts that you want to have at the top of your posts page, you may be interested in marking them as “sticky posts.” This guide explains how to do that:

  It looks like you’ve added a custom background to your site. The Wu Wei post background is transparent, so I would recommend making your custom background image a bit smaller and changing the background color to white via your Appearance -> Background page.
