Change the page order

Add topic to favorites
I have followed the instructions to change the page order. It is not working. What I did is change the dates to force the contact page to go to the end. It will not move. I don’t understand. It is a bit frustrating. I hope to get to the e bottom of this anomaly.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You should create a Custom Menu and add your pages to it in any order you like.

I have a custom menu. At Least I think that is what you call it. I added 2 more “PAGES” and I need to move them to the end of the top pages (menues) as listed. see simplyspemdidfood.com I would like to add them in any order. WordPress is preventing me from moving the order of the pages. As instructed (by wordpress). I changed the entry date for the “NEW” page and it did not rearranges the order of the pages. I will research other methods. My other blog works well. I can change the page order easily. (Different template). I have 6 different blogs for 8 years now.

Your theme (Sela) includes one Custom Menu in the header. If no menu is assigned, this area will display a list of Pages by default which is tricky to arrange.
In order to be able to arrange the menus items (pages) you have to create a custom menu, add items to it and enable it.

To create a custom menu go to your Dashboard > Appearance > Menus. Type a name (main-menu), check the Primary Menu checkbox and add items from the left pane to your menu. Drag and drop the menu items to the position of your liking. Finally click Save Menu and you’re done!
