change the slug for testimonials

    Hi, my site is bilingual and I would like to change the slug for the German part from ‘testimonials’ to ‘referenz’ . How/where can I do this?

    Looking at juttabluehberger.at I can see that it’s not hosted by our managed hosting solution from WordPress.com.

    Is this the site you’re working on? If it is a different site please share that url with us here.

    yes, I am referring to http://www.juttabluehberger.at. why does it matter where it is hosted? I was directed to this forum from within the dashboard of WordPress.org.

    We can’t help directly because we don’t host juttabluehberger.at on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.

    Instead your host (Webgo Hosting) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (sometimes called “WordPress.org”) which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com.

    I did take the time to examine the source code of your site however, and can see it is using the Avant theme. The issue you are referring sounds like a display issue related to your theme. We do not offer Avant theme on WordPress.com so we are not familiar with how it works and do not have access to the source code, but the good news is that the creators of your theme should be able to help with translations directly: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/avant/

    The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and have access to the code to make these changes, so they are in the best position to help. Thanks!
