Change the URLs of clickable images in media gallery

  Hi I just want to edit the destination link when someone clicks on an image in my media gallery. It appears that images in a media gallery can only have links pointing to the images themselves, and not to another page or post URL, which doesn’t seem very useful or make a lot of sense.

  Please tell me this isn’t true! I am happy to edit the images’ in HTML text view, but I do not see a way to do it as it seems to be disabled for images in media galleries. Please help!

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry, but it is not possible to link the images in a gallery to a specific post/page. However, it is a popular request, so I have added your request to the report as well.

  If there are any updates I will let you know as soon as possible!

  However one workaround that I can think of is creating a HTML table with images that you can link to a specific post/page.
