change the username in the link of http://example.wordpress.com/author/username/

  what I want to change is the username that appears in the URL of the author’s name in the post. I’m not quite sure what it is called but the username I’m referring to is the one that appears after the “author/” http://example.wordpress.com/author/username/

  I have already changed my username in order to change the url address, however, it still did not change anything of this link. could anyone help?

  I found another person also had the same problem and staff helped sort it.
