Hi there,
You can go to My Site > Tools > Activity to find recent changes, including recent theme changes.
After you restore the old theme, if you have trouble finding the original home page, or the Customiser looks different:
You will find the old page in the Drafts by going to My Site > Site > Pages > Drafts. You’ll need to republish these by selecting them, and clicking ‘Publish’ in the top right-hand corner. https://wordpress.com/pages/drafts
https://wordpress.com/support/editors/post-and-page-screen/
You can also delete the new theme’s page templates by going to My Site > Site > Pages, finding the template, clicking the three dots and selecting Bin. https://wordpress.com/pages
https://wordpress.com/support/trash/
You may need to do some editing in the Customiser, especially of menus and any CSS. You can do this by going to My Site > Design > Customise. https://wordpress.com/customize/
https://wordpress.com/support/customizer/
https://wordpress.com/support/customizer/#menus
https://wordpress.com/support/customizer/#additional-cssYou might also wish to read https://wordpress.com/support/themes/#my-content-and-switching-themes for further information.
I hope this helps! This thread has been tagged for staff attention, so if you need further help they’ll be able to guide you :)

Hi there,
You had the original Penscratch theme activated before you changed themes. Although retired, you can reactivate that theme by going here:
https://talesfromtheseed.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?search=penscratc
I see that you now have the updated version of the theme, Penscratch 2 activated. Is that one working well for you? If so, I would suggest keeping that one since it will continue to receive updates while the retired version will not.
Thanks,
