Change theme, change widgets?

  Greetings. I want to update my blog to one of the newer, sharper-looking themes. But it took me awhile to get my widgets the way I wanted them on my current blog. If I switch from Twenty Ten to Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve, will I have to manually switch my widgets or will they automatically transfer to the new theme???

  Howdy!

  If you switch themes, your widgets will be saved in an Inactive Sidebar area, so you can easily re-apply them to your new theme. You can also drag and drop them into the Inactive Widgets area and their properties will be saved.
