Change Theme Header Text Color

  How do i change my theme header text color? It is wayyy too dark for my picture and the words are not showing up. So, rather than the gray, I’d like to change it to pure white…but have zero idea as to how to go about that. Help?

  Hi there,

  You could change the colour of that text using custom CSS, however the option of adding CSS is included in WordPress.com Premium or Business. You’d need to upgrade in order to change the colour of the text.

  Some alternative workarounds you could consider:

  • Reduce the text in the tagline so that it doesn’t overlap with the dark part of your header image.
  • Choose a lighter header image.
  • Move the header image to the logo portion of your site so that it doesn’t overlap with the tagline.
