Change Theme Privately?

When I setup my blog six months ago I went with the theme that worked best for me, but since then I’ve seen some new ones come out that I’d like to try. Is there a way to switch to a new theme without it being seen publicly until I’ve got everything setup? I have used the preview button, but I also have found that the theme can look very different after I customize it a little with widgets and layouts. I don’t want to have to have a theme floating out there in transition while I work on getting it to look the way I want

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes you can change your blog visibility to “private” temporarily.

You can also setup a test site such as ( thomasrfellerjrtest.wordpress.com ) then export some of your site to the test site (import to test site) set new test site to Private – then flail away with the testing until you find a look you like then change the main site – then the changes go real quick – there is not a way to export then import the configuration info so you need to copy and paste –
