Change time zone

To confirm your timezone is correct know the default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

i have the same issue but the settings>general doesn’t work because there is no option to chose a different city.

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog, you can reset your timezone here > Settings > General.

I am logged in under Admin, but there is no way to get to the option to change the city I’m in. In the old wordpress I could get to the Admin console, but now it doesn’t seem to exist.
If anyone has an answer to this question that would be great.
Also, why doesn’t the wordpress server just adjust to whatever time zone someone is living in and the communication from the computer is coming from? -
Following, as I’m having the same issue. Seeing my stats split to the next day when it’s only midday here is confusing.

Yes, I am having the same problem. The site is in the wrong time zone, and there’s no way to fix it.
