Absolutely! Just head over to the theme directory and select a “blog-style” theme you like:

@hotmesshalpin if you mean putting your recent blog posts on your Home page, and keep the current theme you have. You can following the instructions below:
1. Go to your website’s Customizer by clicking this link: https://wordpress.com/customize/ (You might need to select on the website you’re currently working on.)
2. You will find these options on your left – http://prntscr.com/gzl80q – select Static Front Page.
3. Then you will see these options – http://prntscr.com/gzmd8q
4. Tick Your latest posts under Front Page Displays.
5. Click Save and Publish button when you’re done.You can also find more information from this link:

Additionally, I think users are often under the impression their site will get “locked” into a certain style during the initial site creation process, specifically when first starting out, and they are presented with the options: Start With A Blog, Start With A Website, Start With A Portfolio.This particular step is simply to help WordPress suggest site themes for whichever type of site you decide on.
So when you chose to setup your site as a blog, WordPress presented some “blog-style” themes to choose from. If you were to have selected “Start With A Website”, you would have been presented with “website-style” themes.
