Change top ribbon/menu colors

  As one scrolls down the screen, a white ribbon appears over the menu &
  site logo (which is for my site is white, washing it out). Also, the menu words turn black.

  Is there anyway to make the ribbon black and keep the menu words white?

  Hi, yes we can do that. Go to Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS.

  #masthead.scroll-header {
  	background-color: #000;
  }
  #masthead.scroll-header, #masthead.scroll-header a {
  	color: #fff;
  }

  I see you have included a couple of screenshot links, but they are to images directly on your computer, so we cannot access them. You would need to upload them to your media library and then provide the URL to those, or alternately use a file sharing service, such as http://imgur.com or https://cloudup.com.
