  Can I keep this account but change the url?

  Hi basorexiacomic,

  Yes, you can change the url.
  Go to My Site → Domains and you’ll see a section called Domain Settings. Click on the input field and enter the desired domain name. Please read carefully the information on the additional screen that will show up once you’ve clicked the Change Site Address button.

  The steps are different in case you already own a domain name that you want to use or if you want to alter the wordpress.com part of the url.
