change url (blog address) and transfer old url to different user

Happy Friday! :)
I am interested in changing the url (blog address) of my blog because another party has requested my current url. I have asked in another thread about changing the blog address (which for me currently does not appear as an option), but I have not yet found a way to transfer my url to someone else. Is there an “easy” solution to accomplish both tasks at once? :)

You cannot chnage the blog URL unless you are logged in under the exact same username account who is the Admin of the blog and who registered the blog.

Again, so many thanks.
I have access to the original username, thanks for that suggestion (big help!). Now that I have logged in with champaignunit4, I am contemplating how best to affect a transfer. My thought is to change the URL and purchase a Site Redirect upgrade for a month or two, and then after a while, give the password of this username to the 3rd party. Is this the best way to go about it, or am I doing something stupid? I believe I wish to give the “champaignunit4” account AND URL to the 3rd party.
