Change URL help

  I am new fairly new to WordPress and I have just been given control over some WordPress websites hosted on a VPS, one of the website on has given a URL that seems case sensitive address (By the person previously in control).

  If possible I would like to change just the URL without having to change anything else, I did have a go at changing the WordPress Address (URL) but that stopped the site from working and I had to and change settings in PHPAdmin to get it to work again.

  If some could give me any advice that would be great as I don’t’ want to break the site again.

  Sounds like you need to be asking over at WordPress.ORG for help with that version of the software. This forum is only for people with blogs hosted by WordPress.com, running a specialized version of the software. I could be wrong, though. I’d have to see the URLs to be sure.
