Change URL name and/or request a refund for a renewal I purchased today.

  I am going in circles with your instructions I just received this afternoon on how to cancel and obtain a refund on a site renewal I purchased today. I can’t seem to Cancel and get Refund. I just want to change the name of the URL. Please help as my site expires on Feb 13th.

  After looking into your account, I found that only the private registration on the domain was canceled. If you want to completely cancel this domain (meridiansoundtherapy.com), please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.

  Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

  You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:

  Well I’m confused. Here’s my situation. I don’t care if the name meridiansoundtherapy is never available again. I don’t want it. However, I do want to keep the content of that site. I just want to change the name of it to ohmacutonics. So what do I do?

  That’s fine. We will cancel the domain.

  However, I do want to keep the content of that site.

  It’s not going anywhere. You can still find it at:

  I just want to change the name of it to ohmacutonics.

  Do you want it to be ohmacutonics.wordpress.com? or ohmacutonics.com?

  If you want it to be ohmacutonics.wordpress.com, you can change a site address ending in wordpress.com by following the steps here:
