change URL of media file

  I can’t change my media file URL by going to the media section, uploading the file, and clicking on edit. the URL field cna’t be changed.

  You can’t change permalinks on a free wordpress.com site.

  Changing the uploaded file name is not possible on WordPress.com. You can change the media page permalink for the file but not the actual file name after it is uploaded:

  You could try achieving this on a plugin-enabled site (Business or Commerce plans) with some plugins like https://wordpress.com/plugins/media-file-renamer.
