  How do I keep my blog name and change my username? Merrily5 @ aol . com

  You cannot change your username, however you can change your name displayed by looking at that same document. Another thing you can do is create just a new username and using your current admin account, add that user to your blog.

  Good idea! However the problem is… my account is attached to my email address… so I can’t set up a new one, can I…?

  My username everytime I login is the name of one of my blogs… and it drives me crazy.

  Is your email a gmail account at all? If it’s not, try setting up a disposable gmail account for the new username; it’s free and you can use that to create the account. If you wanted to you could set the gmail address to forward mail to the other address.

  The reason gmail is good is it has a few tricks which you can use if this happens again. If you add +something to a gmail address, it can fool WordPress; it think it’s a new address but the mail will still go to the original one, which is perfect here. Might be too late now but worth keeping in mind for next time. :)
