Change Username

I am trying to change my username. However, the bar in which my username is in is gray and will not allow changes. Can I still change it? If so, how?

It’s not straightforward, you could create a new username, and then when deleting the old, attribute all to the new username. Alternatively, you could use a plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/username-changer/

Keep in mind that changing your username is irreversible, so make sure that’s what you want to do.

The username bar will allow no changes to be made. I’m not sure why it’s this way, but I just want to change my username. -
