Change Username

  When a username will be changed and would like it to be the same with the wordpress address and I will choose discard the old address, will it still carry over all contents or my blogs?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Yes, if at step 4 of the instructions in the Change Username section of the Change Your Username support page you choose “Yes, change example.wordpress.com to match my new username and discard the old address,” then the content will remain unchanged. However, links to the old address on your site and everywhere else, including in search engine results, will be broken unless you purchase a Site Redirect upgrade.
