Change Username

  Hello,

  I need to change my username to heillyb. I deleted the account where the username was previously attached to ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ so it can now be used on this account. Can I please update the username to ‘heillyb’

  Hi Heilly, the only way you can re-use that username is to un-close the account. Closing your account does not free up the name, and in fact renders it permanently unusable after 30 days.

  Please reply to the account closure email and let staff there know you’ve changed your mind. Then we can help you sort out the email issue.
