Change username and blog URL

  Hi
  I changed my name, but now I want to be reused to create a blog by the same name used in WordPress blogs.
  It’s very important for me, how do I do it?!

  Unfortunately, you cannot undo a username change, so you won’t be able to get your old username back. As for the URL, that depends, if you go to that site, does it say that the authors have deleted this site? If so, you won’t be able to get it back, as it has been permanently deleted. If not, then you should see the site, and you should be able to log into it. If you want the URL and it has been deleted then you can pay for a custom domain to get the domain without .wordpress.

  I’m having a similar issue. I would like to change the URL for my blog because the name of the blog and the URL do not match. The “old way” to do this used to be in the dashboard, but is no longer available. Is there a way to do this simply without using cPanel or re-hosting the website? I don’t care much if my likes or comments disappear, I just need the URL changed to more clearly reflect the blog.
