Change Username to a new account

    Hi, my name is Salma Quiroga and about a month ago, my username for this sesion was @salmaquiroga, I changed it to @salmyq because I need to make an account with another mail totally independent from this one and I need my full name on it (I need it for work), but now I can’t create my other account with the username @salmaquiroga because it says that is already in use, but it was mine the whole time!!! this session is formed with my e-mail (email visible only to moderators and staff) with the username @salmyq. I need another independent session with my gmail (email visible only to moderators and staff) with the username @salmaquiroga. Help please!!!!!!!!!

    Hi there. I’m afraid when you changed your username the old username was deleted and is now gone. A deleted username can never be re-registered, not even by the original owner.

    What you can do is register a different username (consider your name with a number?) and then change your Display Name to your full name. You’ll use the username to log in and it will appear when you post in the forums, but when you comment on blogs or author a post, your display name will be shown instead.
