change username tool error message

  I’m trying to change our word press username to something more general, like “KCTV5” because it looks like we’ll have more specific blogs all under the KCTV5 station header. For 2 days, though, I’ve been getting this error message:

  Change Username
  This tool is temporary disabled. Check back in a few days.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We are aware that Staff are working on that feature and it’s unavailble at this time. The notice clearly states “check back in a few days” so I don’t know why you posted this thread.

  Not to worry. On the up side, not being able to change your username doesn’t interfere with your blogging and Staff will activate that feature again when they are ready to do so.
