  I am going to renew your subscription domain (.com) for the new year, I should change the web address? you can do it chased the renewal?

  After looking into your account, I found that you have quite a few domains! I’m wondering if you want to renew a specific domain in your account currently, or register a new domain!

  Hi Grace :)

  I will better explain ;) the domain called cordiologialaquila.com is going to expire soon,i want to change the adress of the web site with a new one,i was looking at the settings just yesterday and i was wondering if…what if i select the option (Map a domain name that you already own ?!) to change the domain name ?! is that correct ?!

  Hi Mattia,

  Thanks for the clarification! If you want cordiologialaquila.com to expire, I would just leave it as is. It can take up to 90 days for it to completely expire, but that’s ok if you don’t want it anymore.

  If you want a new domain, this would depend on if you already registered it somewhere. If you already purchased another domain elsewhere and would like to map it to your WordPress.com site, you would just need the option you mentioned: Map a domain name that you already own. Please view the support guide for more details:

  However, if you did not purchase the domain already you can register a new domain through us. Please view the guide below on how:

  So….i can wait till the Expiretion of the domain and than register a new one using a new name….or i can porchase a new one (right now) and simply select if from the section….right ?! i still and a will remani on your servers !! i’m so sodisfied !!! :)

  Hi Mattia,

  Yes, you can purchase the new domain, and select that as your Primary Domain in your Store > My Domains page. I just say to let your old domain expiration naturally because if you decide within the next few months that you might want to use the domain for another site or something it might still be an option. However, if you just cancel it now, it may be impossible to get it back.
