Hi,
I am trying to start up another site, but I noticed that the address given to it was in the form of myusername.wordpress.com.
If you are logged into one of your accounts, the sign up page will allow you to name a new site as you like, provided it hasn’t been used before, uses only letters and numbers, etc.
If you aren’t logged into an account when you sign up for a new site, you will create a new account, with the first blog in the account being username.wordpress.com.
To change a website address see the instructions in the Change a Blog Address support page. To transfer a website into a different account, follow the instructions in the Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account support page.

Clarification:
If you are logged into one of your accounts, the sign up page will allow you to name a new site as you like…
Actually, in both cases you can create the website address as you like (provided it hasn’t been used before, is composed of only letters and numbers, etc.), but what I meant to say is that when you are logged in and create a new website, it goes into the account as whatevuhyounameit.wordpress.com. It doesn’t create a username.wordpress.com site.
