I don’t want my website name to be @motivationforyousite. Is it possible to change it to something like MJcreative or something that can tie into my name.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @mjcreative1
Looks like you have finally created your site name into http://mjcreative1.wordpress.com/ and removed the previous site, great job!

Hi there,
I’m only just starting to try and create my own website and after typing up the name I wanted, which looked available, the system added something else as part of the name I chose, which I do not like… Can I change this or am I stuck with a name that doesn’t make sense and that I do not want?
I plan to do the Premium level plan but started with the free lever just to try out and see what I can do with my personal ideas…
Can you please help me?
Thanks -
I just bought a plan with you. Seems a mistake was produced.
I want my site name : Deklaration.ca , but not
deklaration766746414.wordpress.comCould you please change it.
Thank you

If you typed in a custom domain, but did not purchase a plan and complete the domain registration, our system automatically creates a free address based on the domain you specified instead. You can change that free address at any time to another one that’s available, or you can buy a plan and register a custom domain that will display instead of the free address.
You can find instructions how to change the free address here:
-
The domain, deklaration.ca, is registered to your account, but it’s not currently set as the primary domain on your site. Please go to My Site ->Domains and click the Change Primary Domain option at the top to change the primary domain. Your site will display whichever address is selected there.

Good morning,
Thank you for reply.
I want my site name : Deklaration.ca and not deklarationca.wordpress.com.
On my business card should behttp://www.deklaration.ca
email: (email visible only to moderators and staff).I bought domain deklaration.ca.
Could you please help with this before to go forward.

On the list of domains it does not show my purchased domain , deklaration.ca. So I can not change.

You have five sites in your account.
Your domain and plan was bought for the site, deklaration766746414.wordpress.com, that you indicated in your first post here, not for the site, deklarationca.wordpress.com. If you click on My Sites, click Switch Site at the top to make sure you’re selecting the correct site.
I can see your domain listed here:

OK, please forgive me if this question has already been answered but i want to be totally sure before I do anything. The name of my blog is Fringeparanormal.wordpress.com. I found a new template Id like to use but would like to basically redo a lot of the site with this new template. So, is it possible to create this new site under the blog name newFringeparanormal.wordpress.com (for example) and when Im finished change its name over to Fringeparanormal.wordpress.com and replace the old site? If so, would doing this cause me to lose my current subscribers and break the current Google links?

This is not possible, no. As the address, Fringeparanormal.wordpress.com, already exists, you cannot change any other site’s address to that address. It also won’t help to delete Fringeparanormal.wordpress.com, as that will just make that address completely unavailable and delete all followers, stats, etc associated with that site.
To set up a new theme, do create a new site. Set it to private and import some of your content to the new site. Then play around with the theme and get it set up the way you want.
Once you’re ready, then activate the new theme on your main site, and quickly copy over all the configurations you made on the test site, to the main site. This way you can use the test site to figure things out while keeping the disruption to your actual site to the absolute minimum.
I know it doesn’t sound like the ideal process, but it’s the closest you’ll get on WordPress.com to having a staging environment. I used this process myself the last time I switched themes on my blog.
