Change Widget background color
-
Hi! We are trying to change the background color of our widgets. I added the code
.widget {
background-color: #FFCCAA;
}to our Custom CSS for our theme Supermassive. Our widget then looks like this: http://oi40.tinypic.com/2vkc8p2.jpg
You see the problem, we want to change the actual background (the grey area). And not just the areas that just see now. What are we doing wrong?
Thank you!

Hi, Supermassive is not offered here at WordPress.com and we are not familiar with it. Since your site is self-hosted, I would suggest contacting the theme designer or possibly posting for assistance in the self-hosted WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.
I took a quick look with web inspector and it looks like it is a background image declared here: .frame.sb-right #content-wrapper
