Add topic to favorites
Hello!

i am trying Blaskan theme and think the main wrapper is too wide, the text is being so long to read.
How set it to “Normal” width ?

Blaskan has some different layout options built in depending on how you setup your widgets. For example, if you don’t put any widgets in the primary or secondary sidebar areas, you’ll get a skinny single column layout. See this page for more details:

Or if you want to keep the sidebar you have now but adjust the width of the main content area, you can start with something like this:
```
@media only screen and (min-width: 1200px) {
	.content-wide #content {
		width: 630px;
	}
	.sidebars #wrapper, .content-wide #wrapper {
		width: 920px;
	}
}
```
The @media query is used to target just large displays so that it won’t affect the layout for smaller screens such as iPads or mobile phones. To learn more about media queries, check out this link:

Note that you should also adjust the content width setting on your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page to match whatever value you pick for “.content-wide #content”.

jupp, i think so. but on iPad mini & iphone it is not so nice looking. but thats ok :)

Hmmm, but is it possible to do something about that? on iPhone / iPad mini, the sidebar isn´t appear on the side. Its at the bottom.

That’s an intentional part of the theme design, and it’s a common mobile design pattern.

However, if you want to change it you can adjust it using media queries. A customization like that would be a pretty hefty design update (much more than simple Q&A in the forums). If you’d like to hire help, we recommend contacting a company called WerkPress, check out the details here:
