Change width columns after custom design upgrade ?

  I’m currently using the Mistylook theme. If I buy the custom design upgrade, can I change the width of the main and the left column ? I have never used CSS before and really haven’t got a clue of what I need to do :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
