    Hello,

    Can you please share your site URL with us? :)
    It’ll help us to check the middle container which you mentioned.

    Oh! No problem. I did some experiments using the element inspector in Google chrome and I was able to remove the limit on width using this code –

    .col-lg-offset-2 {
        margin-left: auto;
    }
    .col-lg-8 {
        width: auto;
    }

    After using the code given above, I can change the container width using this code –

    .container {
    width: 900px;
    }

    Let me know if that works for you :)

    Yes, you have to use it as Custom CSS.

    Wow…that works like a charm! Thank you very much. How did you figure it out? With the inspect window from internet browser. I was looking for the columns but didn`t found it.

    Thanks man

    I think i have to change the navbar on top also to 1000 px is choose. Right? If i copy the costum css i found to change size it doesn’t appear on the website. Size of nav bar isn’t changing.

    Sorry i have to examine my reaction. It is working like i said but i am loosing the responsive design. If i making the window smaller the nav bar menu is getting smaller and smalle but the scroll down menu on the right top isn`t showing up. The nav bar is just cut. Also the nav bar is not changing its size. Looks a little bit strange. Can you help?

    Is it not possible in this forum to editing your posts? Didn`t find it.

  • When you modify things like container widths in custom CSS they usually need to be wrapped in a media query so they don’t affect smaller screens and wipe out the theme’s responsiveness.

    So for example, something like this:

    .container {
      width: 900px;
    }

    Should go inside a media query.

    You can learn more about using media queries that target certain screen sizes here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-css-media-queries/

    Media Queries for Standard Devices

    Media queries are a simple concept but powerful in practice, and can take some experimentation and testing to get right.

    Now I noticed you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting. These forums are for folks hosted here on WordPress.com.

    Looks like you’re also using a premium theme, so you’ll need to contact the theme’s developer for support: http://gentsthemes.com/

    Good luck!
