change wordpress domain to own server

  when setting up wordpress I also buy credit to buy domain from wordpress.
  But later I intend to get a hosting form eslewhere and intends to host this blog to the new hosting/server.
  My question : The hosting come with a 1 free domain. Ideally I want to register the hosting with the domain I already have with wordpress.Can I erased this wordpress domain so it will make available when I purchase the hosting?

  You can transfer the domain registration (after 60 days) or you could leave the registration at wordpress and use the freebie at your host for a second site.
