changed blog address but links now not working and images lost

  I have moved countries so wanted to keep my blog address and content but just change the country name in the address (as well as details within the blog itself). Eg. examplesiteus.wordpress.com changed to examplesiteuk.wordpress.com.

  I followed the process, but neither my logo or any of the pics have copied over to the new site name. If I click on them I get the 404 – File not found error.

  Also, when (on the new site address) I click on the “Home” link at the bottom of the page under “Recent posts” (I think all wordpress blogs have this…?), rather than redirect back to the home page of the new site, I am instead redirected back to the original address – examplesiteus.wordpress.com – with an error page which says “Not found! What you were looking for doesn’t exist or isn’t here anymore. We are sorry :( Please return to the home page or use the search box above.”

  Can anyone help me resolve these issues? I no longer have the images or my logo to upload again and would like the new address to function as it did before. Any help would be very much appreciated.
