Changed blog address (help undo!)

  Hi there!

  I wanted to change my blog address but after doing it I immediately regretted it. I now have two addresses. All my content (posts and photos) from the old address (vivaciousmommy.wordpress.com) is now on the new address (thevivaciousmother.wordpress.com). I want to get everything back to the way it was, so all my work/content on vivaciousmommy.wordpress.com

  I’m so afraid to click anything in case my content gets deleted somehow.

  Changing a blog URL is a permanent and irreversible act. http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  You can however export and import content. See here http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs

  Can’t I change the URL back? I still have the original URL. Will I lose all my stats etc if I import the content?

  Yes. You have already broken the links by changing the URLs.

  When I changed the URL I kept the original URL (I didn’t click the option “discard current address”). So I now still have all the content, all the files and all the stats. So why is it not possible to return everything back to the way it was?

  Sorry if I seem useless! I’m just so annoyed with myself!

  You can export the content out of one blog and import it into the other blog. See here for the guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs

  I’m not seeing vivaciousmommy.wordpress.com in your account. Did you delete the site sometime after you posted this request?

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Yes, I think that is what happened here as both URLs were registered and accessible when I posted above.
