I copied the DB to a new location, changed db table names, updated the wordpress config to use the new db with the proper table names. The front page works just fine. I can browse my entire site with no problems; however, when I attempt to log into the admin section, I get “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I can’t figure out what is wrong. The data is the same between the old and new dbs. The old db used the prefix of wp_. The new db uses prefix of delu_ (It’s my “over all” wp db). This is broken on two wp sites I have within that database. There are no errors, that I can see, within my error logs. The site stopped working the moment I pointed “wp-config.php” to the new db. Nothing else changed.

Since you are talking about a self-hosted install using the software downloaded from wordpress.org, you need to direct your question to http://wordpress.org/support/ . WordPress.com uses a multi-user version of the software which is different and few, if any, here know anything about it. We do not have access to the db, config or php files here at wordpress.com
