Changed display name and URL – blog disappeard

  Hi –
  My old blog URL was the same as my company
  rossacademic.wordpress.com.

  The blog is “eat, pray, take the SAT”

  I changed my URL to rockthistest. I also changed my user name and my gravatar, and my email address.

  Now, when people click on my user name/gravatar, they can’t find my blog. I thought I “eat pray take the SAT” was at my new URL.
  When I click on it, it says google chrome can’t find it.

  What did I do wrong????

  On the Profile page, set the new URL as your blog under “Website.”

  Your blog cannot be found by search engines because as far as they’re concerned, it’s brand new. All the incoming links go to the old URL, not the new one. It will take a few days to a few weeks for search engines to notice the new URL and begin to adjust your ranking.
