Changed domain name, unable to access WP platform

Hi Forum!
I bought a domain over domain.com with a WP start pack.
Everything was working perfectly fine, by mistake a member of the team changed the domain name to an already assigned domain, and now we are unable to login into the WP interface. We cannot change the domain back to its normal name as we do not have access anymore.Anyone every experienced this? How can this be solved?

I followed Settings » General and added and “s” to https to the WordPress Address and Site Address to make it https://actlab4dev.org. Unfortunately, in a second attempt i also changed the site name to a different name https://actlab.net (which was already attributed and not a domain I had purchased) and now cannot access the WP platform anymore. It seems like it is redirecting me to the new name I gave it and is hence unable to connect to change it back to normal.
Does anyone know if and how that can be fixed? Thanks a lot in advance community!

Are you referring to the mentioned URL : actlab4dev.org ?
The mentioned website is self hosted site where domain is registered with domain.com and the website is hosted on domain.com.
You can additionally redirect your queries to WordPress.org for self hosted websites. https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Hi there,
Changing the domain on a stand-alone WordPress site like yours has to follow a specific process. You can find the documentation for that process here, though many hosting providers have their own process for this via their hosting control panel.

Depending on your setup, you might be able to fix this yourself using those instructions. If not, please contact your hosting provider directly for help.
In this particular case the WordPress.org forums won’t be able to help you either, aside from pointing you to the support page I linked to here.
