changed domain names, can't access blog

I am ignorant when it comes to tech issues. Yesterday I purchased a new domain name, switching mine from ryanjamesblack.wordpress.com to ryanjamesblack.com….toady I cannot access my blog. Why?

You have domain mapping – but a whois for ryanjamesblack.com – shows it suspended for spam and abuse – that is typical also of when registration is canceled inside the 48 hour cancel window
Did you cancel the domain name?

I purchased the 99 dollar premium, then cancelled it shortly therafter. Then i purchased the domain ryanjamesblack.com shortly after that…i have no idea what the “abuse” could be? And how would spam be my fault. Am i going to be able to use it again?

Hi there,
It looks like you canceled your domain and then repurchased it. When you cancel a domain, the registrar doesn’t release it back onto the open market right away, so you only purchased mapping this time, you didn’t actually register the domain again. The ‘spam and abuse’ is just what they set canceled domain name servers to; it doesn’t mean anything.
I’ve contacted our registrar to see if they can restore the domain to your account, and I’ll let you know what I hear.

I’m sorry, our registrar didn’t reply yet. I’ve just contacted them again to follow up. I’ve removed the domain mapping in the meantime, so you can get to your blog here:
