changed email address but mail goes to old address

    I changed the email address in my account settings, but notifications still come to my old email address. As far as I know I don’t own another Word Press account under that email.
    New email: (email visible only to moderators and staff). Old email (where everything still goes) (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Amy!

    I do see that you’ve changed your email address on your WordPress.com account. I also cannot find any account listed under the old email address. However, I did see this:

    http://who.is/whois/amymacdonald.com

    That is public information about your domain. If you are receiving any domain related information to that old email, you should adjust that with your domain registrar:
    http://www.register.com

    If the emails you’re receiving are directly from an @wordpress.com address, could you tell me what kind of notifications they are and I can track them back to the source.

    They are all notifications, such as (most frequently) “Please moderate this comment”. I could forward the emails to you if that would help.

    They are all notifications, such as (most frequently) “Please moderate this comment”. I could forward the emails to you if that would help.

    I’d also like you to change your email in another place that I noticed is still reflecting your @maine.rr.com account:

    http://en.gravatar.com/emails/

    You should get rid of the old email address and make the gmail address your exclusive account. Your Gravatar contact information is responsible for many of your notifications.

    Once you do that, please let me know and we can test out some notifications that I’ll send directly.

    Finally, and this might be a bit of a stab in the dark, but worth a try: can you confirm that you don’t have auto-forwarding setup in gmail?

    I deleted the Gravatar email so there is now just the new email. And there were no forwarding orders over at Gmail.
    Is there some way to test and see if this is working now?
