changed emailaddress, now get notifications on both addresses

  I think something went wrong in the middle of the proces of changing my email address, because I now get email notifications on both my old and my new address. I’m guessing the old entry did not get deleted from the databank or something like that (I’m usually the lucky one that gets the issues no one else encounters…).
  I asked this question on the forum a couple of months ago when I first noticed it, but I didn’t really mind it. But I posted a blog about our stolen bike yesterday and it was a lot more popular than I thought and 50 email notifications on each email account in 24h is just too much to handle for an amateur blogger like me…

  Can the address that starts with (email visible only to moderators and staff) be removed (completely, if possible) and replaced by (email visible only to moderators and staff)? The only reason that I don’t type the complete old address is that I don’t know how many people receive this email and that one is meant for private use.

  You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

  Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

  Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
