Changed Home and Site URL… need help

  Hello,
  First off, I’m a newbie at this, so forgive my ignorance.

  I noticed the website I’m creating won’t work when typing http://www.elliottpta [DOT] com. It only worked when typing elliottpta [DOT] com (without the www)

  Simple, I thought. I’ll change the Home and Site URL addresses to add a www.

  Next thing I know, I can’t access anything.

  I tried changing it back within the sql database using phpMyAdmin, but it didn’t work. Now it just says “error establishing a database connection”

  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated… this is the PTA website for my kids school. Thanks…
