Changed hosting, but wordpress still points to the first

    Hey,
I recently set up a website using WordPress on my own, personal server. When I had finished setting up the site, I exported (and later imported) the MySQL database and moved the files onto the new server via FTP.
However, when I try to navigate around the site, the URL changes from http://www.example.com to http://localhost/ (i.e. it links back to the page on MY server). I remember having the same problem a while back with phpBB and I got it sorted out with a mod that changed the cookies to point to the new site, and I was wondering if there was any such mod for WordPress?
If anyone could give me a bit of guidance on this matter, it would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

You are in the wrong forums actually as this is the support forum for the “hosted” wordpress blogs. The place to ask this is over in the http://wordpress.org/support/ forums as they can help you. Place to start looking for a fix is there, but this might help you. Please direct your support request in the other forum though!

    Thanks,

    Trent
