Changed Link Color in CSS, Not Working
-
Hi,
I changed my link color in the css (blaskan theme) but it’s not showing up as the same color throughout my site – amaridesplays.com. in the right column where i have widgets, some of the links are a darker blue. any suggestions?Here’s what I added to the CSS:
.type-post footer, .type-attachment footer {
border-top: 1px dashed #CCCCCC;
clear: both;
color: #999999;
display: none;
font-size: 12px;
margin: 20px 0 0;
padding: 5px 0 10px;
}body {
}h1 {
font-size: 2em;
}h2 {
font-family: proxima nova, sans-serif;
font-size: .3em;
text-transform: uppercase;
}strong {
font-style: italic;
text-transform: uppercase;
}a:link {
text-decoration: none;
color: #08a0c9;
}a:hover {
text-decoration: none;
color: #08a0c9;
}The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I haven’t looked too closely, but I’m guessing that the darker blue links are visited links. This is a useful visual cue to help visitors identify which links they’ve already seen.
If you want to override, add
a:visitedto your links style, like this:a:link, a:visited {
text-decoration: none;
color: #08a0c9;

Hi Roberto, your question is about a site using a theme other than Blaskan (like the question above). In the future, can you please create a separate help request if your question is about a different theme?
To change the basic link color in the Mixfolio theme, add the following to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor and click the Preview button to see how it will look:
a { color:#B7A3A3 }
