Changed my blog address, can I safely delete the old address?
-
When I first started blogging, I picked an address that didn’t match my blog’s name.
After doing some ‘refurbishing’, I decided to change the address to match the blog’s updated name and still keep all of my content. The first address is now a blank blog with no content which I made private. Can I delete the first address safely without losing any content or anything else?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I do not recommend deleting the site. I recommend making it private.
To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site.
The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
