Changed my blog site address; now google search finds old original site only
-
I changed my blog address from herbacity.wordpress.com to wildweedwisdom.wordpress.com. The suggetion was to save the herbacity address, which I did, but now, if you google search ‘wild weed wisdom’ you are sent directly to the old herbacity site, which now is only an empty template. I need the wildweedwisdom.wordpress.com blog to show up in a google search, and the herbacity should just be shelved.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Buy the Site Redirect Upgrade – that will send all traffic to your new site and train the search engines to update their search results
Dashboard >> Store >> $ 13.– year – one year should do most of the work – also put a note on the old site that you have moved with a link to the new site – then after a year and the site redirect goes away things will be all taken care of and no visitors will be let in the dead end

If you do change your blog address, permalinks to your old address, including search engine results, will be broken unless you purchase a Site Redirect upgrade.

The first site above has two pages of indexed content in google SERPS (search engine page results). The new site has zip – none – no indexed content. The solution is to start publishing content frequently and by that I mean publishing posts not pages. See here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/
