Changed my email address
-
But, I am still receiving email messages from the only blog I am subscribed to at my old email address. What can I do to fix this?

Hi bonnie686, one option is to click the subscription link in the email and chose to unsubscribe from the site. If needed, do this in an incognito window, or log out of WordPress.com first.
If that does not help, could you send the email address and the site name that’s getting subscriptions?
You can go ahead and type the email here. It will be hidden from public view so only staff can see it. And we can use that to look for more information.

I tried to reply to your email, but it was returned to me, of course, since your email came from a “no-reply…” address. I didn’t realize it came from a “no-reply…”
So, here is the reply I tried to email back to you:
Thank you for your reply. Here is the relevant information from an email from the blog: “Praying Medic,” which I subscribed to probably 5 months ago, and I am still receiving emails from the blog to this day.
The email address it is being sent to is: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
There seems to be no way to unsubscribe it through WordPress processes because when I click on the link “unsubscribe” from that blog, it takes me to the page in my account for changing my subscriptions; the problem with that is that Praying Medic isn’t listed as being a blog I am subscribed to! In fact, that account page shows that I am subscribed to NO BLOGS!
I have no idea… very discouraging and certainly confusing.
Thanks.

Hi,
The account you’re posting from is not using the same email address, and so you do not see any subscriptions under your account.
The site you mentioned, prayingmedic.com, is not hosted on WordPress.com but uses some of our services through Jetpack. Please open one of the emails you received and click tounsubscribeat the very bottom to unsubscribe to that site.Let me know if that helped.
