Changed my email on my wordpress.com account ?

  Hello, :-)

  I would like to change my email in my wordpress.com account so that it is identical to my back office account of my blog under wordpress (blog.xxxxxx.dev)

  On my blog.thierrylaval.dev/admin account I have the correct email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)).

  On the wordpress.com/me/acount account I have another of my emails ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) that I would like to modify with the one from the blog ((email visible only to moderators and staff)).

  So I make the change and the popup replies “This e-mail address is already in use.” ”

  Ok, so I thought I had a 2nd active wordpress account with (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I went to log in again to delete this account … It’s done.

  I go back to the wordpress.com account that I want to keep in order to modify my email and the popup replies “This email address is already in use.” ”

  So I think there must be a delay in order to be able to re-use my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) instead of (email visible only to moderators and staff)?
  Do I have another quicker solution than waiting?

  Hi there:

  It’s hard to advise when we don’t have the actual email addresses in question because we can’t look them up in our system.

  With that being said, the WordPress.com user account you’re posting to the forums with is currently using the (I assume) (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address you posted above.

  If I understand your request properly, it looks like you were already able to get the email addresses updated successfully? Let us know if you still have trouble and we’ll be happy to help.

  Of note: WordPress.com accounts are tied to an unique email address, which is why we don’t allow more than one account to use the same email address. You can see how to do this in the future if it comes up again by following the steps outlined here:
