Changed my Permalink and then I couldn’t access my website at all (even the Dashboard)

So after trying out WordPress.com for a year, I decided to try creating a website with WordPress.org (through Bluehost). Everything was going fine until I tried changing the permalink. Now I can’t even login to my WordPress anymore (even bluehost page states that I don’t have a wordpress page). Please help

    Hello!

For sites you build with the Open Source version of WordPress from WordPress.org, help comes from the WordPress.org support forums or from your web hosting provider.

If you can tolerate a fair amount technical detail, here is a link to a post that examines common causes and fixes for this kind of problem:

This forum supports site hosted with WordPress.com. The WordPress.com staff has visibility and access to WordPress.com accounts that it does not have for other hosting platforms. For that reason, assistance here is very limited for sites running on other hosting services.

Thank you for the reply. I have actually tried to skim through the WordPress.org forum but couldn’t find the page that lets me to post the question. Is there some sort of registration that I have to do beforehand?

As for one of the solutions given, it’s my first time accessing the htcaccess file so I don’t really have much confidence but I’ll do my best.
